Molicel M35A 18650, 10 Amp, 3500mAh, Protected

This has added protection for short circuit, overcharge, and undercharge. Mostly used for equipment that has no built-in protection of its own, or for torches that use two batteries in series. Many will use these also for added protection, even if the torch has its own.
 
Protected batteries are much more expensive, hence the price difference.
 
Same performance to the Epoch protected battery I used to import from the USA. These have a higher end protection circuit installed than many you see like this in other NZ stores.
