The HS42 is one of the best affordable headlamps currently on the market, it has 3x beam types of Spot, Flood, and Red. It uses a regulated circuit for high sustained brightness throughout its runtime, and also has onboard USB Type C charging. High sustained range is super important for hunting purposes, so if hunting is on the cards this model would be ideal.
 
Note: I find the head bracket it comes with can be a little uncomfortable if the top head strap isn't tight. I've decided to include a silicone bracket as well for free.
